Melissa Silva

Bringing Cre8 Dance Academy to life is more than opening a dance studio—it is the realization of a lifelong dream. Dance has never simply been something Melissa does; it is who she is. The performing arts have shaped every chapter of her life, and from the moment she stepped into a dance class as a young child, she knew this was her calling. She continues to approach her career as both an educator and lifelong student, constantly evolving, learning, and striving to provide the very best for every dancer who walks through the studio doors.
Erin Benoit
Teacher
Erin began her dance journey at the age of three, training throughout the Hamilton and Burlington communities. She started at the Linda Collins School of Dance before continuing her education at Live, Dream, Dance, where she developed a strong technical foundation and a lifelong passion for the art of dance.
Pete Christo
Teacher
Pete Christo, affectionately known as “Mr. Pete,” brings more than four decades of experience to the dance industry as a performer, educator, adjudicator, and mentor. Throughout his distinguished career, he has travelled the world performing and sharing his passion for dance. Pete made history as the first Canadian selected to adjudicate both the World Tap Championships and the World Show Dance Championships, a testament to the respect he has earned within the international dance community.
Makayla Boafo
Teacher
Makayla discovered her love for dance at just two years old, and that passion has continued to grow through years of dedicated training and performance. Throughout her dance journey, she has trained extensively in a variety of styles and has had the privilege of learning from respected industry professionals.
Caroline Tsambalieros
Teacher
Caroline has had a lifelong passion for dance, beginning her training at a prestigious RAD studio in Toronto. Her love for the art form quickly evolved into a passion for teaching, and she began her journey as a teaching assistant at just 16 years old. Since then, Caroline has built an impressive career as an educator and choreographer, teaching both recreational and competitive dancers at studios across Canada, including in Calgary, Alberta, and throughout Ontario in Kingston, Kitchener, Cambridge, Listowel, and Acton.
Hailey Reid
Teacher
Hailey Reid discovered her love for dance at the age of three, and what began as a recreational passion quickly grew into a lifelong commitment to the art form. Eager to expand her training, she transitioned into the competitive program where she developed a strong technical foundation in ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, and contemporary.
Celina Midany
Teacher
Celina discovered her passion for dance at a young age, and that passion has continued to shape her journey both as a performer and educator. She trained extensively in contemporary, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, and open, building an exceptional competitive career filled with numerous overall titles, special awards, and judges’ recognitions. She became especially known for her captivating storytelling, emotional depth, and artistic expression on stage.
