Creative Movement (Ages 3–4)
This playful and imaginative class is designed especially for our youngest dancers. Through guided games, music, and storytelling, little ones explore movement, rhythm, and spatial awareness in a joyful and nurturing environment. Creative Movement builds coordination, listening skills, and confidence — all while introducing the basics of dance in a way that feels like fun!
Jazz
Jazz is a high-energy, expressive style that combines sharp, stylized movements with dynamic footwork and bold performance. Dancers learn isolations, turns, jumps, and upbeat choreography set to popular and classic music. With a strong focus on musicality, technique, and personality, jazz helps dancers develop confidence, stamina, and stage presence — and have a blast while doing it!
Tap
Tap is all about making music with your feet! This rhythm-based style teaches dancers to create sound patterns and percussive beats using precise footwork. Tap classes help develop coordination, timing, musicality, and a strong sense of rhythm. Whether learning classic Broadway-inspired routines or more modern styles, dancers gain both technical skill and expressive creativity.
Ballet
Ballet is the foundation of all dance — a timeless style that emphasizes grace, discipline, strength, and control. Through structured barre and centre work, dancers learn proper alignment, posture, technique, and terminology. Ballet encourages focus and artistry while building physical strength, flexibility, and poise that benefit every other style of dance.
Hip-Hop
Hip-Hop is a fun, freestyle-based street style that celebrates individuality, rhythm, and personal expression. Set to the latest beats and classic tracks, dancers learn grooves, footwork, and high-energy choreography that’s full of attitude. This style builds confidence, musicality, and endurance while encouraging dancers to move with purpose and flair.
Lyrical
Lyrical dance blends the technical foundations of ballet and jazz with emotional storytelling and expressive movement. Dancers learn to interpret lyrics through flowing, connected choreography that emphasizes feeling, breath, and connection to the music. Lyrical develops control, grace, and performance quality, helping dancers grow not just technically but artistically.
Contemporary
Contemporary is an innovative and expressive style that fuses elements of ballet, modern, jazz, and improvisation. Known for its emotional depth, grounded movement, and freedom of expression, contemporary encourages dancers to explore their unique artistry. Classes focus on technique, creativity, floorwork, and fluid transitions, helping dancers develop strength, agility, and personal movement language.
Acro
Acro is a dynamic fusion of dance and acrobatics that emphasizes strength, balance, flexibility, and control. Dancers safely learn skills such as handstands, cartwheels, aerials, and partner work while maintaining strong dance technique and fluidity. With a focus on body awareness and progression, Acro challenges dancers to push their limits in a supportive and structured setting.
Open
Open Dance is a creative performance category that blends multiple dance styles into one cohesive routine. Choreography may incorporate elements of contemporary, jazz, lyrical, ballet, hip hop, acro, tap, commercial, or other movement genres, allowing dancers and choreographers the freedom to explore artistry without being limited to a single style.
Stretch & Strength Class
A class designed to support every dancer’s body — on and off the stage. Stretch focuses on increasing flexibility, building muscular strength, and improving posture and alignment through controlled exercises and deep stretches. Dancers work on safely lengthening tight muscles, strengthening core stability, and improving overall mobility. This promotes injury prevention, better body awareness, and long-term physical wellness — an essential complement to any dance style.
Strength training is all about building a strong, resilient dancer from the inside out. This targets endurance, control, balance, and power using cross-training techniques, resistance work, and dynamic movement patterns. With an emphasis on proper technique and body mechanics, dancers gain the tools they need to level up their performance, support injury prevention, and push their physical limits in a healthy and sustainable way.
Technique Class
The foundation of every great dancer lies in their technique. This class sharpens and refines the essential skills required across all dance styles — including turns, jumps, extensions, and body alignment. Through focused drills, repetition, and corrections, dancers develop precision, consistency, and confidence in their movement. Whether you’re working toward cleaner lines or more controlled leaps, Technique class builds the strength and awareness needed to bring artistry and power together.
