Makayla discovered her love for dance at just two years old, and that passion has continued to grow through years of dedicated training and performance. Throughout her dance journey, she has trained extensively in a variety of styles and has had the privilege of learning from respected industry professionals. Her education has been enriched through competitive dance, intensive training programs, workshops, conventions, and performance opportunities, allowing her to develop a strong technical foundation while cultivating artistry, versatility, and confidence.
Committed to lifelong learning, Makayla believes that exceptional teachers are always students themselves. She actively continues her professional development through mentorship, teacher training, workshops, and continuing education, ensuring she remains current with industry standards and teaching practices. Her dedication to growth allows her to provide students with high-quality, thoughtful dance education in every class she teaches.
Makayla is passionate about working with children and is dedicated to creating a positive, supportive, and encouraging environment where every dancer feels seen, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential. She believes that confidence, kindness, and a love of learning are just as important as strong technique, and she strives to inspire both personal and artistic growth in every student.
Makayla is thrilled to be joining the faculty at Cre8 Dance Academy and looks forward to helping build a community where dancers feel inspired, supported, and excited to pursue their passion for dance.
